Current SCM is permission-driven, meaning a User must have specific granted permissions to view or modify data. Assign specific roles for each Team and Project a user belongs to.

Current SCM offers secure access via Single Sign-On (SSO) and highly detailed audit trail logs tracking user access and activity.
Use our Teams and Projects structure to segregate access to information within the system depending on the needs of your unique organization. Users must be added to specific Teams and Projects to access information related to those specific Teams and Projects. Each User can be added to none, one or multiple Teams and Projects. Perhaps you are a Construction company and simply want one Team that owns multiple Projects. Perhaps you are an EPC and want a unique Team for each of your clients, with each client-specific Team owning one or multiple Projects. Perhaps you are a Manufacturer and want a different Team for each division, with each division-specific Team owning multiple ‘Projects’ for each specific product or region.
Users Can Be Assigned Different Permissions Per Team and Per Project
Permissions range from abilities to govern administration tasks (e.g., modify team roles), view specific types of transactions (e.g., view requisitions), or complete actions (e.g., approve purchase orders). Permissions are typically provided within the application through named Roles but can also be customized within the context of a specific Team or Project. The ability to assign different Roles on multiple Teams and/or multiple Projects gives organizations additional staffing elasticity.
You are in complete control over which Teams and Projects each User can access, as well as each User’s ability to view or change data within the platform.

Control User Access and Permissions at the Team Level
- Each User can be added to multiple Teams.
- Each User can be assigned one or multiple Roles, including different Roles and permissions per Team.
- There are eight default Roles at the Team level
- Each User can also be assigned one or multiple custom permissions at the Team level (Current SCM offers approximately 50 custom permissions to choose from for Team level Roles).
Control User Access and Permissions at the Project Level
- Each Team member can be added to multiple Projects.
- Each Team member can be assigned one or multiple Roles per Project, including different Roles and permissions per Project.
- There are twelve default Roles at the Project level
- Each Team member can also be assigned one or multiple custom permissions per Project (Current SCM offers approximately 220 custom permissions to choose from for Project level Roles).
In-Depth Audit Trail Logging Tracks Account Access, Data Views, and All Data Edits
- The system logs all login events with device details, login provider, IP address, and timestamp.
- The system also logs data views within parts of the application and every data modification, including before-and-after state.
